A Morocco photography experience is like no other. I first visited Morocco four years ago and from the moment I arrived with camera charged to the max I was mesmerised.
I stopped at every opportunity to capture everything in sight, from alley ways to door ways, from the colourful spices in the market to the lanterns that hung on every other market stall.
Then there was the Majorelle Gardens, the breath-taking colours stopped me in my tracks. The garden has been open to the public since 1947. Since 1980 the garden has been owned by the late Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé. A must see and snap for ANY budding photographer. The hustle and bustle of Marrakech left me wanting to discover more of this magical country. Four visits later I am now in love with this place and have been lucky enough to experience the incredible Atlas Mountains.
I am not sure if it’s the perfect light that rises and falls over the mountains, fading to a delicious pink, or if it’s the energy that makes the whole place light up like no other. The smells of the lavender and olive groves, or maybe it’s a combination of all these wonderful things of nature that keeps taking me back. There is a real sense of just being able to be at one with nature. Time to let your creativity expand and see through the eyes of the lens. There’s an image to create at every moment.
With the passion I have for photography I soon discovered the up and coming latest boutique hotel and luxury villa residences of L’Amandier. Now I have visited twice, this magical place is nothing short of perfection. The six bedrooms, each tastefully styled by Michael Kopinski-Lenz, and wonderful villa collection are magical.
Sitting poolside leaves you feeling you’ve found home. On the rooftops at sunset, with sundowner in hand, and the sounds of prayer reverberating amidst the clear skies with its shooting stars all make for a perfect retreat. L’Amandier will be seeing me again soon for another magical Morocco photography experience.
We look forward to your enquiry to visit L’Amandier to photograph the local scenery and culture.
We can arrange an itinerary for you, and even take you on a guided tour to photograph the magical sights of Marrakech, the mesmerising Atlas Mountains and villages and breathtaking scenery of the Ouirgane Valley and Toubkal National Park that surrounds L’Amandier.
We welcome you, your family, and friends to our wonderful, inspirational and motivational Atlas Mountains villa collection and hotel for your holiday, anniversary, celebration, wedding or honeymoon, or even a corporate team builder, workshop or conference. You’ll be delighted you did.
